Today is Thursday. Today, it is with a very heavy heart and grief that I have been made aware that one of New Hampshire’s senators, Jeanne Shaheen, voted for Gina Haspel to become the new CIA diector.
As a mother of a son, who was tortured, this makes me terribly ill and I have no words; no words at all.
Everytime I pick up the pieces, I become shattered again. I want to write this woman; no, I want to look her in the eye and ask her why.
I am sorely and wretchedly distraught.
