Day 1234 debate

Today is Tuesday. Tonight, I watched the Democratic debate. It struck me just how far we have fallen as a society when we have to debate moral issues.

Thank you to those who have donated and to you who have yet to..😉😊🌹💞

Day 1233 getting a bed

Today is Monday. Today, I am happy to see that Keisha received enough money to get her bed.

Thank you, Cindy from NY for helping her out and for the generous donation to Matt’s fund.

If you are concerned about putting your financial info on a gofundme, please contact me through this blog and I will give you an address.

Love is an action and thank you for the expression.💞

Day 1231 sacrifice

Today is Saturday. Today, I just want to talk about a young single mom, who lives on a shoestring and sacrifices for her children.

Keisha has been a longtime supporter of Matt. Her sweet little daughter would colour and draw pictures for me.

Keisha recently gave her bed to her kids. She sleeps on the floor.

Do you want to do something simple that will be a major blessing to a young and struggling mother?

Help her raise $500 for a bed.

Love is an action.💞

Day 1230 a party

Today is Friday. Today, I was invited to a party. A staffer of Bernie Sanders called to personally invite me to a party prior to Bernie’s debate.

She asked me to tell her what one issue am I passionate about.

Justice reform.

I don’t know where this will lead; but, I hope to network with people who have a passion for people, for justice and for integrity.

Today, one little nobody, who cleans for people wasn’t looked at as one little nobody who cleans houses. LOL

This ought to be fun.

Day 1229 love is a boomerang

Today is Thursday. Today, I did a special project for one of my clients. I didn’t open up the payment envelope til I was home.

This dear lady gave me $100 more than our negotiated price. I was quite taken aback.

I called her to say her next clean would be free. She laughed and said, “Uh, I don’t think so. You did a great job and you are worth every penny.”

Yup, I cried. I know, you’re surprised…lol

I have enough now to fund my peeps who need toiletries. You reap what you sow.

Love, like a boomerang, it finds it’s way back to you..;)❤

Day 1228 remembering day 74

Today is Wednesday. Today, I am going to repeat a previous blog post.

I hope this encourages you..😉💜

Day 74

Today is Sunday. Today I took a long walk around my neighborhood to
get a bit of sunshine after several days of continual rain. Mind you, I
like the rain; but I like it interspersed with several days of

I was thinking how wealthy I am. Really, Leann? Oh, not in a way
that a politician or a Wall Street banker looks at wealth; the kind of
wealth I’m talking about is in relationships.

Most people probably know by now that Paul and I lost pretty much
everything when it comes to material goods and money. We lost our
house, our small retirement funds and I even had to sell the little bit
of jewelry I owned. I would say our net worth as a family wouldn’t make
it on any list.

Matt has said to me a number of times, “Mom, in all this terrible
injustice, just look at all the cool people we have had the privilege to

No truer words can be said. When I think about people who encourage
us from all over the world, I feel like I have been given something very
precious. It humbles me and makes me swell up with deep gratitude.

To those who have become dear dear friends, you are priceless. I
would give up a hundred retirement accounts, houses, jewelry to be
called your friend.

If in this world you have even one true friend who will stand with
you and love you in all circumstances when many people are self serving
and have no integrity, then you have great wealth.

In this ongoing battle against injustice and evil, thank you to all
those who remain steadfast and loyal. I love you all and it is an
honour to be in your circle.

Peace, solidarity, and so much love….Leann
