Day 955 small potatoes

Today is Monday. Today is another day to be grateful for the people who come into your life. I clean for an 80 year old woman who has Parkinson’s.
Today, she saved the life of a young pregnant woman who is her occupational therapist. The older woman recognized that the younger was going into diabetic shock.
I ran out to buy some orange juice at a convenience store while she called emergency services. Thankfully, the EMT crew had just got to the house as I was returning. They gave the young woman glucose intravenously.
I was so proud of this disabled older woman and her quick action. I stayed and talked with her for awhile as afterwards she was a bit shaken.
She gave me a tip that I refused at first; but she was adamant.
Why is it that people who don’t have much are the most generous? Maybe they understand that money is a tool and they give unselfishly because they value others.
We talked about art and poetry. I cleaned her house and got her calm; but, that was small potatoes compared to how valued she made me feel.
It’s all about the love..;)❤

Peace sweet friends.

Indeed! We all have the opportunity to be kindness and love to another. I appreciate your family because despite the cruelty you have all endured, you remain tender, gentle and willing to love others. God bless you and yours!

Indeed! God bless you and yours as you continue to show love to others in spite of the cruelty you have been shown. Kindness and love can be easily dispensed when we stop and see the needs of others.
