Day 918 Robert

Today is Saturday. Today, there was a barbecue given by the justice reform group.
I met a man named Robert. He came for some encouragement, I think. He has lost all hope in friendship and he admits he trusts no one. He has been treated so unkindly.
He asked why he couldn’t have a second chance. He paid for his mistake dearly.
He’s right. There are good people who make bad mistakes. Why can’t someone like Robert make amends by being a productive citizen in a community?
We told him we were friends not condemners.
Love seeks to restore, to rebuild, and help those remake their lives.
