Day 875 Perspective

Today is Friday. Today, I worked my final job for the day at a 4 level home. As I was coming down a set of stairs from the loft, I paused at the last step to take a breath. It was eighty something today with probably the same level of humidity. The owner sat in a chair and watched me.
I happened to glance down at her. She eyed me for a few seconds and said, “You look very hot.”
Little did she know I was melting. NO airconditioning and it wasn’t because she didn’t have it.
“I am certainly that,” I responded.
So, instead of offering me a glass of water, she and her husband went for a swim in their gorgeous in ground pool with a view of beautiful mountain ranges.
I could whine about this; but, there are people in prison who work for less than peanuts and their reward is a lumpy cot, no pillow, garbage for food, harrassment and a stellar view of gray walls.

Perspective.

And if for one second you believe anyone deserves being treated this way; get a check up on your heart. You may find out you don’t have one.

Peace. Humanity begins with kindness.

Leann I do love your heart and soul! This reminds me….Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us and its streets are paved with gold! Oh how I look forward to the day when I stand before my God only to hear him say, “Well done my good and faithful servant! Well, done!”.
