Today is Wednesday. Today is Valentines Day. We don’t need a day, although nice, to remind us to show kindness and love. We should be doing that every day of our lives.
It’s much better when we make something special out of an ordinary day without the designated “Hallmark” day.
Planned consumer holidays are really just that. How about a “just because” day with your own style of fanfare. I think those are the best kind; unannounced and spur of the moment.
For all of those who take advantage and buy flowers or candy or do something special, kudos. But how about a repeat performance on another day and perhaps for someone who would least expect it?
No one gets too much encouragement. You haven’t heard me say that before..😀
