Today is Monday. Today, I saw a young man who couldn’t have been more than 20 years old. I get off on an exit that becomes 2 left turn lanes. Unfortunately, I am in the lane farthest from the median where some homesless people wait for a handout.
In Manchester, they are called panhandlers and the police don’t like the rest of us giving money to them.
My bags are perfect because they ain’t money. I drove in my lane slowly, opened my window, whistled and my young friend seeing my bag readied himself and I tossed him the bag that landed in his arms. It was a Tom Brady pass if I do say so myself and this young man caught it splendidly.
The smile on his face kept me warm all through my work day.
Tomorrow it is supposed to snow again and this bag contained an extra pair of warm socks and a fleece scarf. I jam pack these babies with organic foods, too.
I am starting to bring cookies because should I get stopped by the cops, I am going to give them some of my famous baked goods to ease the tension.
It’s Christmas time for heaven’s sake. Let’s get a bit of humanity with our cup of cheer going.
Peace my friends..I think my son would be proud..😉👍😊
